Amar and Prem are two rivals who belonging to middle-class families with no scope of future advancement. Both individually, without the knowledge of the other decide to take matters into their hands and find ways to get rich quickly. Chaos and acrimony result when both find each other at loggerheads when both arrive to win the hand of the daughter of multi-millionaire Ram Gopal Bajaj amidst considerable upheavals when Shyam, the twin brother of Ram, decides to do away with Ram and assume his identity and thus take over the estate of the Bajaj family.

The play depicts the lives of seven people living in Mumbai, all with their own uniquely moving story. It tries to capture the essence of people living in the city through seven characters who have been strung together in a series of monologues. Stories about the ambitions of a child artist, the escape of a ridiculed wife into art, a single mother’s sacrifice of her life for the sake of her children, child abuse, a TV reporter’s regret of the media’s inability to celebrate positivism rather than sensationalism and negative news, a hilarious take on corruption by an agent and the West beckoning today’s youth are all interwoven. Each character, marked by failure and doubt are clearly self –censored. While they may communicate through candid expression, they subtly allude to greater truths.
Bhaag Johnny
Bangkok based Janardan Arora aka Johnny (Kunal Kemmu) indulges in a treacherous activity at work that’s noticed by his boss Ramona Bakshi (Manasi Scott). She soon starts blackmailing him. She warns him that if he does not kill Tanya (Zoa Morani) she’ll expose his fraudulent transactions and get him arrested. This makes Johnny’s life miserable.

Muniya too has plans of her own. She leaves the palace every now and then in a disguise to meet gangsters in dark alleys. A dangerous kidnap plan is afoot. The palace is rife with intrigue. The shayari is dropped for the guns, daring chases and true intentions and in the end, love triumphs even if the players of the story do not.
Dance Like a Man
The story of Jairaj and Ratna, two Bharat Natyam dancers past their prime, is contrasted with that of their daughter Lata, who is on the brink of establishing herself as a brilliant dancer. Her imminent success creates tension and jealousy, and the audience is drawn into the dark secrets of family relationships and conflicts between generations. The play probes the surface of the characters to question their deeper motivations, but the mode is comic rather than tragic, even though the concerns are serious, you are never sure whether to laugh or cry.
Daag
DAAG is a story of a man convicted of murder, on the run from the law. Sunil (Rajesh Khanna) is forced to leave behind his new bride Sonia (Sharmila Tagore), when he kills her would-be rapist. In an attempt to establish a new identity Sunil meets Chandni (Rakhee) and ends up marrying her to give her illegitimate child a father’s name. Now a respected Mayor of his town, Sunil’s past catches up with him and brings together Sunil and Sonia but the long arm of the law is just a step behind… Can he outrun his destiny for long?
