Madras Cafe

An Indian Intelligence agent (portrayed by John Abraham) journeys into a war torn coastal island, to break a resolute rebel group. He deftly maneuvers his resources to make significant breakthroughs, amidst a scenario where the enemy has no face and the only counsel is ‘Don’t get caught.’ At various junctions, he meets a charismatic and passionate journalist (portrayed by Nargis Fakhri) who is following her will to reflect the truth behind the civil war. The story unfolds as their quest for the truth reveals a deeper conspiracy, by a faceless enemy, united to seize a common nemesis – India.

Chashme Baddoor

Siddharth, Omi and Jai are close friends and roommates who are studying at Delhi University. One day Omi and Jai see a girl who is new to their neighborhood and try to impress her by their tricks, but to no avail. However, one day, Siddharth accidentally bumps into Seema and they soon fall in love. Jealous of them dating, Omi and Jai provoke Siddharth against Seema. Sid and Seema break up, following successful attempts by Jai and Omi. Later, one day, Omi and Jai find a poison bottle in Sid’s drawer and thought that he has committed suicide. Realizing their mistake, Jai and Omi try several times to unite Sid and Seema again, but in vain. Seema’s grandmother comes up with a filmy solution and suggests Jai and Omi to play kidnappers and supposedly kidnap Seema. Then, the aunt goes to Sid and asks him to rescue Seema from the kidnappers. Finally, Sid and Seema start dating again. Seema’s uncle is impressed with Siddharth and announces their marriage.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

This is a true story based on the life of an Indian athlete Milkha Singh. He ran for India during 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. Milkha Singh (Farhan Akhtar) has a flashback of his childhood days as a young boy which haunted him and resulted in him becoming an athlete. During the partition of India in 1947, his parents died in the Punjab violence. He makes his way to Delhi and meets his sister there. Living in impoverished refugee camps, Milkha soon makes friends and survives by stealing along with his friends. He falls in love with Biro (Sonam Kapoor) but she asks him to live a life of honesty. He joins the Indian Army and they see his talent as an athlete. He gets selected for the Indian Team for Olympics. He manages to win the race and makes it to the Indian Team. During the Indo- Pakistan games, Milkha takes the lead and not only wins the race but also wins the respect of the two nation’s people. The Pakistani commander impressed by his effort gives him the title “The Flying Sikh”.

Aashiqui 2 (2013)

Rahul Jaiker (Aditya Rao Kapoor) is a successful singer but is a drug addict and has alcohol problems. One night in a bar he sees Aarohi (Shraddha Kapoor) performing his song. He is highly impressed and vows to make her a star. After some problems, Aarohi finally becomes a successful singer, however Rahul and his drinking issues is always a distraction for her. Will Rahul be able to get rid of his alcoholic habits? Or will Aarohi give up her singing career to save Rahul’s life?
