Tanu Weds Manu

London-based Dr. Manoj Sharma returns home to Delhi, and in the company of his parents, Kishan and Anju, as well as several others, travels to Chaman Ganj, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh to meet his prospective bride, Tanuja Trivedi. He approves of her, informs his elders and they begin preparations for the marriage. Subsequently he gets a rude awakening when Tanuja tells him that she already has a boyfriend and plans to marry him even against her parents’ wishes. Manoj informs his parents, and they set about to see other girls for their son – albeit in vain – as he has his heart set on Tanuja, and is all set to return back unmarried. Manoj and Tanuja are fated to meet again in Kapurthala, Punjab, while attending the marriage of Jaspreet Singh Jassi and Payal Sinha. While Manoj hopes to win Tanuja’s heart – he will face more rejection when she enlists his assistance to elope with another male.

Jazbaa

Anuradha Verma(Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) is a prominent criminal lawyer and a single mother who has never lost a case. On the day of a parent-child race in her daughter Sanaya’s(Sara Arjun) school, Sanaya is kidnapped and no ransom is demanded, but instead the kidnapper contacts her and tells her that she has to defend a convicted felon to get her daughter back. The felon is Miyaaz Shaikh(Chandan Roy Sanyal) who is convicted for rape and murder of a young woman and the case against him is set for judgement in four days. The kidnapper keeps track of Anuradha very closely to make sure she complies with his demand. Anuradha gets help from her friend Yohan(Irrfan Khan) who has been suspended from the police force. The case against Miyaaz Shaikh is handed by a powerful politician Mahesh Maklai(Jackie Shroff) to a renowned public prosecutor(Atul Kulkarni) who has been defeated by Anuradha and hence has a long time professional rivalry against her. An edge of the seat thriller drama unfolds.

Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.

Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd is about newly married couples on a package honeymoon to Goa. Exciting and cheerful, this vacation is a subsidized option for a lot of dreamers on the brink of their new life. Six couples, a guide, a driver and a handyman ride in a bus from Mumbai To Goa with a mysterious man on a bike following them. The narrative humorously unfolds different stories that explore the nature of love and human relationships. Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd, is a quirky comedy about love, men, women and superheroes.

Khamoshiyan

A young novelist KABIR (Ali Fazal) is a one-book wonder. He is on an inspirational journey to find himself and to write his book. He meets a young and beautiful lady MEERA (Sapna Pabbi) who runs the isolated guest-house which he finds eerie. Meera is married to the owner of this guest-house JAIDEV (Gurmeet) who was once a rich paper mill owner, he had disguised himself as a charming man but is a controlling demon within. Kabir begins to encounter unusual things and discover secrets about the house and Meera. Meera is evasive about these suspicious incidents that are taking place, which if he finds out, would threaten to destroy her. The more Kabir interacts with Meera about these strange incidents the more he gets drawn towards her. What are the secrets that are hidden in her silences?

Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se

Arun and Lily met in classroom for the first time. Arun (Sachin), the only son of a Barrister father, stood second in the exams to Lily Fernandes (Ranjeeta), a shy, simple, modest girl – the daughter of an ordinary nurse in a private nursing home. The shock of the defeat was too much for Arun, and he took up a challenge – even nursed a personal vendetta – to bring down the growing popularity of Lily in the college. Lily, however, bore no malice against him. She even tolerated all the sarcasm and nasty pranks of the close chums of Arun.
As time went by, Arun and Lily started admiring each other’s qualities. One day, Arun’s father walked in to the Fernandes house with a proposal for marriage between Arun and Lily. The happiness of the young lovers knew no bounds. But when everything was nicely set up for a happy ending, suddenly, Lily falls ill. Blood culture test proves the case to be Leukemia. No effort is spared to arrest the disease, and save the poor girl. But will Lily survive?

CityLights

CityLights is the story of Deepak Singh (Rajkumar Rao) who lives in a small village in Rajasthan with his wife and daughter. Since he finds it difficult to make, he plans to move to Mumbai. His wife hesitate about aimlessly shifting to Mumbai. Eventually both agree and moved on. Soon after reaching they are cheated by some people who pretended to help them to get a small house. They lose their monumental support when they lose 10000 Rs. which they were carrying. Deepak gets hired as driver for a security bureau. Deepak’s senior realizes he is very innocent and so does various favors for him in order to gain his trust to loot the security agency. Deepak is extremely against the theft, but then the senior blackmails him. Than Deepak agrees to the risky plan of stealing the keys for this box when suddenly they are both robbed again and the senior is killed. The movie ends when his attempt to steal the keys from the agency cost him his life but was able to pass on the key to Rakhi.

Amar Prem

Nandkishore Sharma is born in the Sharma family. His mother passes away, leaving him in the care of his father who re-marries a woman named Kamla. Kamla is not kind to Nandu, who then seeks solace with a neighbor named Pushpa. This does not auger well with Kamla, who severely beats up Nandu. Then his parents decide to move to another town, and Nandu tearfully bids farewell to Pushpa, but her love for him remains in his heart forever. Years later, Nandu has grown up, his parents have passed away, his siblings are settled independently, and he himself is married. He takes a nostalgic journey to the same town where he used to reside as a child. He asks around for a woman named Pushpa, hoping that a lot of people would remember her for her kindness and love. He is shocked to find out that Pushpa not longer lives there – and no one remembers her for her love and compassion only as a – prostitute.

Gulaab Gang

The Gulaab Gang members are activists and vigilantes in Bundelkhand Uttar and Madhya Pradesh.,They wear pink sarees and take up issues like domestic violence, the dowry system, rape, electricity matters, and education. Their fierce leader. Rajjo (Madhuri Dixit), locks horns with a conniving and shrewd politician. Sumitra Bagrecha (Juhi Chawla), who uses people. Rajjo runs a Gulaab gang in the village of Madhopur, where she teaches little girls their alphabet, and grown-up girls how to wield a lathi. Her gang is made up of women who wear bright pink. Rajjo’s closest friends in the gang are a tomboy (Divya Jagdale), a woman abandoned by her husband (Tannishtha Chatterjee), and a kohl-eyed woman (Priyanka Bose). These ladies go about standing up for the meek and the downtrodden, and clash against villainous husbands, cops and politicians

Guide

One of the most remarkable films in Indian Cinema. A film ahead of its time in its theme and the bold handling of the subject. The film deals with Raju Guide (Dev Anand) encouraging the frustrated Rosie (Waheeda Rehman), a talented dancer, to step out of her destructive and confining marriage to Marco, an archeologist, and become a dancer in her own right. Rosie and Raju’s romance, blossoms. In a moment of weakness Raju forges Rosie’s signature and lands in prison. When he is released, he hesitates to return to his hometown and decides to search for his fortunes elsewhere. He ends up in a remote village temple wearing over his threadbare clothes, a saffron scarf and finds himself suddenly elevated to the position of a holy man. For Raju the play acting becomes the reality. He starts believing that this is a task assigned to him by god.
