Raaz 3

Shanaya (Bipasha Basu), an actress at the height of her success, gets offered the best roles and wins all the awards she’s nominated for. In addition, she also has a passionate affair with a handsome director named Aditya (Emraan Hashmi). This all ends when a younger actress, Sanjana (Esha Gupta) makes her film debut. Suddenly, Shanaya seems forgotten and everybody only wants to work with Sanjana. Soon enough, Aditya also leaves Shanaya for Sanjana, and Shanaya sees her career fading away and she slowly becomes crazy. She begins to turn to black magic and makes it her goal in life to destroy Sanjana and get back the man she loves, Aditya.

Guide

One of the most remarkable films in Indian Cinema. A film ahead of its time in its theme and the bold handling of the subject. The film deals with Raju Guide (Dev Anand) encouraging the frustrated Rosie (Waheeda Rehman), a talented dancer, to step out of her destructive and confining marriage to Marco, an archeologist, and become a dancer in her own right. Rosie and Raju’s romance, blossoms. In a moment of weakness Raju forges Rosie’s signature and lands in prison. When he is released, he hesitates to return to his hometown and decides to search for his fortunes elsewhere. He ends up in a remote village temple wearing over his threadbare clothes, a saffron scarf and finds himself suddenly elevated to the position of a holy man. For Raju the play acting becomes the reality. He starts believing that this is a task assigned to him by god.

Dedh Ishqiya

Taking on from where we left the previous time Dedh Ishqiya discovers yet another journey of Khalujan (Naseeruddin Shah) and Babban (Arshad Warsi), a poetic journey underlined with revenge, drama and deception. The Begum (Madhuri Dixit) of Majidabad is hosting a festival of poetry and music in her mansion. The country’s best poets are in town. Khalujan, the Nawab of Chandpur, is participating as a poet in the festival. He is not there merely to show off his poetic wares but to impress the widowed Begum who, as the grapevine suggests, is scouting for a husband – preferably a Babban arrives in Majidabad to exact revenge on Khalujan but his plans change the moment he sets his eyes on Begum’s maid and confidant, Munira alias Muniya (Huma Qureshi), a brash and sexy young woman. Muniya too has plans of her own. She leaves the palace every now and then in a disguise to meet gangsters in dark alleys. A dangerous kidnap plan is afoot. The palace is rife with intrigue. The shayari is dropped for the guns, daring chases and true intentions and in the end, love triumphs even if the players of the story do not.

Roy

This romantic thriller revolved around Arjun, Ranbir and Jacqueline. In the film, Arjun plays a film director whose hero is none other than Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir, whose name in the film is also Roy, is actually a big thief who has pulled off impossible heists. He has dodged bullets, chased cars and yet, no authority has been able to get to him. Jacqueline Fernandez has a double role and is essaying the role of a film director.
