Genre 
A group of immigrants (Pandi, Murugan, Afsal and Kumar) are detained by the local state police, tortured and forced to admit to a crime they have no knowledge of. When all hope seems to be lost, a policeman from their hometown speaks on their behalf at the court hearing, setting them free. The policeman asks for a return favor and the boys oblige, oblivious to the ill fate that awaits them. As they unwittingly bear witness to a political treason, the system seeks to silence them, at any cost. But Pandi is determined to be heard.

When the killer does the same to Sonia Saigal; Naina, Sonia’s twin sister decides to take a stand at the risk of her own life by conducting an extensive investigation to ascertain information about the killer. She does manage to gather his where-about and name, Gokul. She sought assistance from a blind ex-military officer Major Suraj Singh Rathod who is preparing her to combat Gokul.
Jazbaa
Anuradha Verma(Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) is a prominent criminal lawyer and a single mother who has never lost a case. On the day of a parent-child race in her daughter Sanaya’s(Sara Arjun) school, Sanaya is kidnapped and no ransom is demanded, but instead the kidnapper contacts her and tells her that she has to defend a convicted felon to get her daughter back. The felon is Miyaaz Shaikh(Chandan Roy Sanyal) who is convicted for rape and murder of a young woman and the case against him is set for judgement in four days. The kidnapper keeps track of Anuradha very closely to make sure she complies with his demand. Anuradha gets help from her friend Yohan(Irrfan Khan) who has been suspended from the police force. The case against Miyaaz Shaikh is handed by a powerful politician Mahesh Maklai(Jackie Shroff) to a renowned public prosecutor(Atul Kulkarni) who has been defeated by Anuradha and hence has a long time professional rivalry against her. An edge of the seat thriller drama unfolds.
