CityLights

CityLights is the story of Deepak Singh (Rajkumar Rao) who lives in a small village in Rajasthan with his wife and daughter. Since he finds it difficult to make, he plans to move to Mumbai. His wife hesitate about aimlessly shifting to Mumbai. Eventually both agree and moved on. Soon after reaching they are cheated by some people who pretended to help them to get a small house. They lose their monumental support when they lose 10000 Rs. which they were carrying. Deepak gets hired as driver for a security bureau. Deepak’s senior realizes he is very innocent and so does various favors for him in order to gain his trust to loot the security agency. Deepak is extremely against the theft, but then the senior blackmails him. Than Deepak agrees to the risky plan of stealing the keys for this box when suddenly they are both robbed again and the senior is killed. The movie ends when his attempt to steal the keys from the agency cost him his life but was able to pass on the key to Rakhi.

Geet Gaata Chal

Shyam – Sachin is an orphan, and earns a living by singing and dancing at special occasions. One day the family Durga babu – Manhar Desai, his wife Ganga – Urmilla Bhatt, comes across Shyam, and decide to take him with them to their house. There Shyam meets with their daughter, Radha – Sarika, and as a result Radha slowly falls in love with Shyam. Shyam is naive and thinks that Radha just wants to be friends. In his eyes, Shyam wants to be a free person, not tied down to anyone or anything, and would like to spend the rest of his life wondering, singing, and dancing. When Shyam finds out that the family intend to marry him to Radha, he likens his plight to that of a caged bird, and flees, breaking Radha’s heart. Will Shyam ever return? What impact will this have on the family?

This Basu Chatterji film boasts of a sterling performance by Master Rajoo and an excellent music score by Ravindra Jain, which contains soulful songs like ‘Gori Tera Gaon’, ‘Jab Deep Jale Aana’, ‘Tu Jo Mere Sur Mein’ and ‘Aaj Se Pehle’.
