Hostiles

In 1892, legendary Army Capt. Joseph Blocker reluctantly agrees to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief and his family back to their tribal land. Embarking on a harrowing and perilous journey from Fort Berringer, N.M., to the grasslands of Montana, they soon encounter a young widow whose family was killed on the plains. The travelers must now band together to survive a punishing landscape that’s crawling with hostile Comanches and vicious outliers.

The film explores the artistry and pioneering positioning of the larger-than- life yet man-next-door icon, with depth, insight, humor of the most admired and loved musicians of the century.

Drishyam

Vijay Salgaonkar runs a cable TV network in a remote village of Goa. He lives a happy life with his wife Nandini and two daughters. A 4th grade dropout & an orphan, Vijay has worked his way towards success with his sheer hard-work & street smartness in order to provide for his family. His wife, while she loves him devoutly, wants Vijay’s thrifty & miserly behavior to end. If there’s one thing that Vijay cannot live without, it is his passion for watching films. Such is his ‘filmy’ obsession that he doesn’t mind staying up all night at his office binging on TV movies! In a bizarre turn of events; a teenage boy goes missing; he is the son of a headstrong & no-nonsense cop; IG Meera Deshmukh and the Salgaonkar family is the prime suspect! Will a humble & middle class man, be able to protect his family from oppression of the powerful? How the family weathers the storm that ensues during the violent investigation forms the rest of the story leading to an unexpected & shocking climax.

Chandni

Chandni (Sridevi) faces life alone, her heart and her dreams shattered as Rohit (Rishi Kapoor) disappears from her life. When she meets Lalit (Vinod Khanna) who is fighting the demons of tragic memories, they both find solace in this new friendship. Lalit is falling for her and Chandni resigns to destiny, till one day, Rohit knocks on her door. CHANDNI is a classic Yash Chopra love story.

Bombay Talkies

The play depicts the lives of seven people living in Mumbai, all with their own uniquely moving story. It tries to capture the essence of people living in the city through seven characters who have been strung together in a series of monologues. Stories about the ambitions of a child artist, the escape of a ridiculed wife into art, a single mother’s sacrifice of her life for the sake of her children, child abuse, a TV reporter’s regret of the media’s inability to celebrate positivism rather than sensationalism and negative news, a hilarious take on corruption by an agent and the West beckoning today’s youth are all interwoven. Each character, marked by failure and doubt are clearly self –censored. While they may communicate through candid expression, they subtly allude to greater truths.

All Is Well

Inder Bhalla is an aspiring song composer who is settled abroad away from family as he does not like his father because he thinks he is arrogant, selfish and does not love his family. But fate brings him to India when he gets a call from his fathers lawyer that his father wanted to sell the bakery he owned and give half the share to his son. Whereas after coming to India he finds that the scene is different. His father is in debt from head to toe and his mother is suffering from Alzeimer’s and is in an ashram. Inder blames his father completely for his moms situation without knowing the truth. However, when he comes to know the truth, he decides to stand by his family and support them. He then along with his father undertake a road trip and are later joined by a woman named Nimmi.

Fandry

A mesmeric force pulls Jabya onto the other side. The rarest of rare Black Sparrow he is told, is the cure to his problem. Her ashes are believed to cast a hypnotic spell on the one you are in love with. Completely away from the magical world of Jabya, exists the callous reality of his parents who are working at the most oppressed level of the Indian Class Structure and assume him to do the same work which they have done all their life. The protagonist has to now struggle between his quest to find the magical sparrow and his parents expectations.
