Kabir (Abhay Deol) is engaged to Natasha (Kalki Koechlin) and wants to go on a bachelor trip with his two childhood friends before getting married. They had a pact regarding the trip that each one gets to do one adventure sport of his choice and the other two have to join in the act, whether they like or not. Imran (Farhan Akhtar) has an additional agenda to be on the trip – to find his biological father about whom he has lately discovered. Arjun (Hrithik Roshan) is a workaholic financial trader who wants to earn enough and early for retirement at 40. As they initiate an adventurous road trip across Spain, they try their hands on everything from deep-sea diving, sky-diving to running with the bulls. And en route they liberate themselves from all the bindings of world.
Dil Dhadakne Do
Dil Dhadakne Do revolves around an imbalanced Punjabi family on a cruise trip where the film is based on. Ranveer Singh is seen in a character as Kabir, who is a wealthy person by birth. Being a son of a business man, he was raised up to take up the business. But the story reverses, as he is interested in plans and aspires to became a Pilot.
Due to this difference he faces a lot many problems until he meets Farah (Anushka Sharma). She is a girl, who escaped from her home to make her dream over dance come true. She comes across Kabir, which turns his miserable life into bed of roses. Priyanka Chopra is seen as Ranvir sister. She plays an ambitious entrepreneur married to Rahul Bose when she goes on the cruise, but Farhan acts as the third angle to Priyanka-Rahul’s dysfunctional relationship.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
This is a true story based on the life of an Indian athlete Milkha Singh. He ran for India during 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. Milkha Singh (Farhan Akhtar) has a flashback of his childhood days as a young boy which haunted him and resulted in him becoming an athlete. During the partition of India in 1947, his parents died in the Punjab violence. He makes his way to Delhi and meets his sister there. Living in impoverished refugee camps, Milkha soon makes friends and survives by stealing along with his friends. He falls in love with Biro (Sonam Kapoor) but she asks him to live a life of honesty. He joins the Indian Army and they see his talent as an athlete. He gets selected for the Indian Team for Olympics. He manages to win the race and makes it to the Indian Team. During the Indo- Pakistan games, Milkha takes the lead and not only wins the race but also wins the respect of the two nation’s people. The Pakistani commander impressed by his effort gives him the title “The Flying Sikh”.
