Don (1978)

Don, a wanted criminal, dies in a police chase. DSP D’Silva is the only one who knows about his death, and to get hold of the gang he trains Don-look alike Vijay. But Vijay faces danger from the police and from within the gang.

Meera is married to the owner of this guest-house JAIDEV (Gurmeet) who was once a rich paper mill owner, he had disguised himself as a charming man but is a controlling demon within. Kabir begins to encounter unusual things and discover secrets about the house and Meera. Meera is evasive about these suspicious incidents that are taking place, which if he finds out, would threaten to destroy her. The more Kabir interacts with Meera about these strange incidents the more he gets drawn towards her. What are the secrets that are hidden in her silences?

Karthik Calling Karthik

Born in Delhi, but now living in Mumbai, Karthik Narayan is a much abused employee with ACL Construction, secretly in love with leggy Architect, Shonali Mukherjee, who has been going steady with yet another co-worker, Ashish. After purchasing a new telephone, Karthik gets a call from a male voice that resembles his, who instructs him to follow directions; tell no one about this phone call, and he will achieve success. He follows these instructions, is soon promoted, as well as befriends Shonali, and continues following instructions from this caller. After Shonali makes it clear that she loves him, he breaks his promise, and is urged to seek counseling by her. He reluctantly does so with a Pyschiatrist, Dr. Shweta Kapadia, who hopes to cure him by visiting him early morning in his flat – not realizing the shock and trauma that await the duo.

Spanning over to the next generation and how Pooja & Vijays son Vicky (Rishi Kapoor) and Anjalis daughter Pinky (Neetu Singh) from her relationship prior to Amit – And Anjali & Amits daughter Sweetie (Naseem) come together, and a chain of events bring together old lovers as friends, some 20 years later is what forms the rest of Kabhi Kabhie.

Hum Tum

Hum Tum is a refreshing look at the eternal battle of the sexes as it follows the lives of Karan (Saif Ali Khan) and Rhea (Rani Mukerji). Karan is a cartoonist and his character “Hum” and “Tum” reflect his perspective on the strange love-hate relationship between men and women. Rhea is sensitive, well bred and self confident. She can give as good as she gets and is not afraid of standing up to men. Initially, the two have very little in common. But, as life would have it, their paths keep crossing and, over the course of a decade, their relationship evolves, from hate to mutual respect, friendship and finally…LOVE.

Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2

Gogo (Kartik Aaryan), Chauka (Sunny Nijar) and Thakur (Omkar Kapoor) are flatmates and best friends. Film start with Gogo meeting Ruchika a.k.a Chiku (Nushrat Bharucha) and gives her his number. Siddharth ends up meeting Supriya (Sonnalli Seygall) at a family wedding and instantly falls for her. Thakur meets Kusum (Ishita Raj Sharma) while working out at the gym and they start seeing each other. The guys get into relationships with the girls. However, sweetness of love starts to fade. Gogo disapproves of the proximity between Chiku and Sunny, her best friend. Siddhart helps Supriya and her family in their chores, but Supriya is not willing to take the relationship forward. Kusum does not support Thakur in his business adventure and is using him for her luxuries. At the end, the boys give up and leave the girls. The film ends with them acknowledging that the only place where they can get the true love is from their mother.

Hamari Adhuri Kahani

Hamari Adhuri Kahani is the story of Vasudha Prasad (Vidya Balan), a single mother who works as a florist in a Mumbai hotel. Her husband Hari (Rajkummar Rao) has been missing for five years.
Vasudha meets Aarav Ruparel (Emraan Hashmi), a super-rich, globetrotting hotelier who falls for her. After a few songs and some emotional blackmailing by Aarav’s mother, Vasudha overcomes her reservations about having a relationship with a man while being married to another.
Things fall apart when Hari returns after being on the run from the law. He is far more hateful and vituperative towards his wife than before. His return puts Vasudha in a dilemma and throws her life out of gear once again.

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein

It starts as the love story of a self-absorbed son of a Tamil industrialist and daughter of a Punjabi social activist. While Sreeram (Imran Khan) loves to have chicken and keeps a crab as a pet, Dia (Kareena Kapoor) is vegetarian. But soon their relationship falls apart and the story shifts to a Gujarat village, where the two have to literally build a bridge to mend fences. There is very little substance in this farcical tale, for, Punit and his team of writers are dealing with a world they know little about.
