Vandana and Arun fall in love the instant they meet. On a trip to a Shiv temple, they get married in an impromptu ceremony in front of God. A chance rainshower strands them at a remote hotel where Vandana gets pregnant. With their legal marriage just around the corner, they don’t worry about the consequences of their actions, but unfortunately, Arun dies in a plane crash. Vandana chooses to have the child, Suraj, and as she promised to Arun, wants to raise him to be an Air Force pilot. Fate is cruel to Vandana, however, and the child is adopted by a wealthy family. Vandana becomes a nursemaid to stay close to Suraj. A family member tries to molest her, and in the ensuing fight, Suraj comes to protect her and kills the perpetrator. Bablu (Shah Rukh Khan), an aspiring chef, works in a hotel where Sonia Kapoor,(Juhi) works with him as banquet manager at the restaurant. His look-alike Manu (Shah Rukh Khan), a gangster, robs a bank along with his friend (Gulshan Grover) but gets caught. He comes out of prison and discovers that his cohort has double-crossed him. He murders his partner and escapes from the scene of the crime…without the money. Bablu stumbles on the money and keeps it. Stanley Ka Dabba
Stanley studies in an all-boys Holy Family High School in Andheri East, Mumbai. While his class-mates bring their very own Tiffin-boxes, Stanley does not do so on the pretext that his mother is away, and shares food with Aman Mehra and others much to the chagrin of the Hindi Teacher, Babubhai Verma, who not only cajoles fellow-teachers, but virtually forces children, to share their food with him. With extra classes being imposed on both students and teachers, and the recess-breaks being doubled, parents are also forced to pack more food in lunch-boxes. When students evade Babubhai and continue sharing food with Stanley, he calls the latter aside and warns him that he cannot attend school until and unless he brings his own food. Watch what impact this has on Stanley, teachers, and his class-mates.
Lai Bhaari
Pratap Singh Nimbalkar and his wife Sumitra Devi are known for their social work. Sumitra is insulted for not having a child even though she has been married for many years. Her maid suggests her to pray to Lord Vithoba in Pandharpur. Out of eagerness, Sumitra Devi promises to give her first son to Lord Vitthala. As fate would have it, she gets pregnant soon and confirms the good news to Pratap Singht. Sumitra informs Pratap that she is now convinced of keeping the baby. The boy is named Abhay Singh, or Prince, as a nickname. 25 years later, Prince (Riteish Deshmukh) comes back home after studying while his paternal cousin Sangram is a crooked guy. A few days later, Pratap is killed and it is implied that Sangram was behind his death. Sangram subsequently kills Prince and takes over all the property that belonged to Pratap Singh. What will be the faith of Sumitra Devi? What will be her destiny? Is any surprising twist waiting for her?
