Baar Baar Dekho’ is a love-story, which unfolds through flash-backs and flash-forwards. The film starts of with rich business tycoon Aditya Deewan (Sharman Joshi) and his wife Siya Deewan (Zarine Khan) inaugurating a hospital in the name of Vikram Deewan (Aditya’s elder brother who died in an accident). Out of the blue a stranger Saurav Singhania (Karan Singh Grover) gifts a branded car to the Diwan’s and invites them to lunch, where he makes Aditya an absurd offer, he tells Aditya that he will help him expand his business and will give him as much money he wants in return for spending one night with his wife Siya! Aditya rejects the offer. Thereafter Saurav continues his ploys to destroy Aditya, he also murders his colleague Kaaya (Daisy Shah) and puts the blame on Aditya. Siya cannot see her husband suffer in jail and takes up the offer to sleep with Saurav in return for getting the proof of Aditya’s innocence. After she sleeps with Saurav she discovers the reason behind Saurav’s actions and both she and Aditya try their best to destroy Saurav.
Patiala House
Gurtej Singh Kahlon witnesses his family being attacked by British-born Caucasian skinheads, leading to a death in the family. While the identified attackers were never charged by racially biased police, he himself was arrested for defending his family. He swore to change the manner in which East Indians were profiled and set about to build a Mini-India in Southall. He encourages his son, Parghat, to play cricket as he himself was a fan of the Indian team. But the English cricket team forbids him. Then mixed-raced Simran Chaggal enters Parghat’s life and gets him to be included in a failing English team. They conspire to keep this information from Gurtej, and even re-name Parghat as ‘Kaali’. But Gurtej finds out and is hospitalized, refuses to have to do anything with his son, and even refers to him as ‘Angrez Chamcha’. Shameful of having hurt his father, and no one in the family to back him up, Parghat has no option but to publicly announce his ‘retirement’ from cricket.
