One night a young girl named Sonia (Yogita Bali) comes to Dinapur station and asks for a ticket to Bombay. She seems to be scared and is in a hurry but she misses her train. The station master, Rohit (Rajesh Khanna) helps her by keeping her suitcase safely with him and letting her stay in his house. He goes back to the station and on the way he remembers his past with his wife Rashmi (Zeenat Aman). He is a middle-classed young and dashing guy who is in love with wealthy and lovely Reshmi, and both decide to get married against her father, Sardarilal’s (Hari Shivdasani) wish. Shortly after their marriage, Reshmi gets pregnant. Then Reshmi enters a beauty pageant, and wins it. Now that her career is rolling, Reshmi decides that she does not want the child now, but Rohit opposes this decision. Reshmi goes back to live with her father who sends divorce papers to Rohit. Devastated, Rohit seeks employment, and finds a job as a station master at a remote hill station. He meets with Reshmi and her dad, and is humiliated because he is poor. He decides to accumulate enough money to win back Reshmi’s love, and decides to do it quickly. This decision results in his being arrested for stealing a suitcase full of jewelry and valuables, and he is also charged with killing the owner of the suitcase – Miss Sonia. Will Rohit win back the love of his life and prove his innocence?

Ta Ra Rum Pum
Rajveer Singh works as a pit stop crew worker at the New York speedway and dreams of becoming a race car driver himself one day. Fate has a pleasant surprise in store for him when he is selected as the driver for a down-and-out team called Racing Saddles. He falls in love with Radhika and she marries him against her wealthy father’s wish. Over the years, they are blessed with two adorable children, Princess and Champ, and Rajveer “R.V.” becomes the highest ranking race car driver in the US. But a racing accident puts him out of the racing circuit for a year and when he returns he discovers that he has lost his touch. He is fired from the team and the family is forced to relocate from their posh mansion to a poorer suburb. As the family battles their problems whether Rajveer will return to the race tracks remains to be seen.

Upon his return, he finds that Makarand is living a very enviable lifestyle with three of the most beautiful girls, who also work as air-hostesses. Sam meets them all, and finds out that the trio are unaware of each other, falls in love with Pooja; and begins several moves to upset Makarand lifestyle, and possibly get promoted as a Supervisor.

This triggers her initial training, her immense dedication, her will and passion while struggling to balance her life at home, even additional sacrifices to make ends meet, all in the context of the poverty that was constant in her early life. she gets her first unsanctioned fight with immense odds in her face, only to win some money for her family. The story shows how the country writes her off and the pressure to quit from the sport. Only to pave her comebacks and wins accolades, along with taking of her family.
